Reflecting on the Easter Message

Easter isn’t just a day on the calendar—it’s the anchor of our faith. It reminds us of the greatest truth we stand on: Jesus didn’t just die, He rose.

And that changes everything. In 1 Corinthians 15:17, Paul puts it plainly: “And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.” But He has been raised. And because He lives, we live—with purpose, with power, and with hope.
As we move through the days after Easter, here are a few truths worth reflecting on—and living out:
Resurrection is More Than an Event—It’s a Mindset: The resurrection isn’t just something to celebrate once a year. It’s a daily reality we get to walk in. Romans 6:4 says, “Just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” Every day, we have the opportunity to die to the old and rise into what God is calling us to become.
Forgiveness Is Final: The cross settled it, and the resurrection sealed it. We are not defined by our worst moments. In Christ, we are forgiven fully and finally. That kind of grace is hard to comprehend, but it’s worth pausing to receive it, believe it, and extend it to others. What would your relationships look like if you lived fully forgiven—and fully forgiving?
Pain Never Has the Final Word: Friday looked like defeat. Saturday felt like silence. But Sunday shouted victory. Whatever you’re going through—heartache, disappointment, loss—it doesn’t get the final say. Jesus overcame death so we could overcome despair. Resurrection power isn't just for eternity; it’s for today.
We Are Witnesses: The resurrection wasn’t meant to be kept quiet. The women at the tomb didn’t keep it to themselves, and neither should we. Your story matters. Your faith walk matters. Whether it’s through conversations, actions, or simply showing up for others with grace and strength—let your life point to the empty tomb.
Live Like He’s Alive: If we truly believe Jesus rose, then our lives should look different. We should carry joy in sorrow, peace in chaos, purpose in every step. Easter reminds us not to live defeated, but to live resurrected.
As you continue through this month, let Easter be more than a memory—let it be your mindset. The tomb is empty. Your life is full. And God isn’t finished yet.
“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” – Matthew 28:6
Let that truth echo in your thoughts, your habits, your relationships, and your purpose. Because if He’s alive—and He is—then so are you.
Best wishes,
L.B.
