New Year, Same Purpose

A new year often brings the itch to reinvent ourselves. Gym memberships surge. Vision boards are posted. Resolutions are made. But while the calendar may change, your God-given purpose does not.

Before time began, He knew your assignment.

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I set you apart." (Jeremiah 1:5)

This isn’t about hype. This is about heaven’s mandate over your life.

As a man, your purpose is not tied to how much money you make, how much influence you have, or how perfect your plans are. It is tied to being a light, in your home, your community, your sphere.

In 2026, don’t just aim to start new goals.

Re-anchor yourself to the same mission:

  1. Be faithful in the small. God often unlocks the next season through obedience in this one.

  2. Pursue depth, not just productivity. Grow deeper in God’s Word, in meaningful brotherhood, in your role as a husband, father, friend.

  3. Don’t chase significance, carry it. You’re not waiting to be used by God; you already are. Where you stand today is holy ground.

So yes, the year is new. But your purpose is eternal. Stay the course. Let the world evolve — but let your roots go deeper.

Your impact is not tied to the noise of the world. It is tied to your faithfulness to the call.

Best wishes,

L.B.
